I am proud to have helped recommission one of the greatest ships to have ever sailed. It makes me beam to see Midway brought back to mint condition. Now I can take my daughter to see where daddy worked, (and played) and grew a bit.

10 years after CVA-41, I re-enlisted and served 10 years with the Reserve Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 16 and 17, as an SW2. Today, I am an Industrial Arts Teacher with Gladstone High School in the Azusa Unified School District. I teach woodshop and drafting. I'm married 17 years with one 15 year old daughter. To all my former shipmates: "Splice the Mainbrace".
