Navy Day's I was stationed on Midway during the "Cold War Era" but still was on duty to receive a medal from the Republic of Chinaon Taiwan for assisting in maintaining thier freedom. My time spent on Midway was the best years I've ever had.
These Day's I'm semi-retired after 41 years as a letter carrier for the US Postal Service. I'm totally enjoying life and have very fond memories of the finest fighting lady in the US Navy, "The Mighty Midway".
