These Day's

Navy Day's I was aboard Midway during 'Frequent Wind', one of many Photomates documenting that historical event. Some of my photos are on several websites. Before, during and after the operation. Was TAD to the MAA during an IO cruise. First time to Karachi. The dope was literally falling out of the overheads. Left Midway for Photojournalism training at Syracuse University. Came back to Japan 1978-1981 to work at Stars & Stripes in Tokyo. Did a few features on Midway, including her drydock period. Met PHAN Bill Purcell at that time. Retired as a PHC as CCG in North Island in 1993. 24 years of travel and adventure doing a job I loved.

These Day's Working as a CSI for Arcadia PD in the San Gabriel Valley for over 10 years. Two kids by second marriage to a Filipina. I have custody. Daughter is a senior at Monrovia High, son is a struggling sophomore. Wants to be a Marine. Will be in San Diego for the March Photomate Reunion. 58 years old, looking forward to retirement after my son gets his diploma. Would like to settle somewhere east of the Mississippi, not Florida..

SDACM After Action Report August. Did not get to see the photolab. I have lots of photos stored away that I need to submit to the Midway websites..
